From Stunts To Street Ruckus: Dehradun Police Arrest Multiple Offenders, Seize High-End Vehicles

Dehradun police have arrested multiple individuals and seized several luxury vehicles after two separate incidents of reckless behavior were caught on camera and widely circulated on social media.

In the first case, a video surfaced showing youths performing dangerous stunts with high-end vehicles in the Maldevta area. Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh directed Raipur police to investigate, reported Jagran News.

Officers identified and seized two Mahindra Thars and a Tata Safari involved in the stunts. The drivers were also taken into custody.

In a separate incident, wedding celebrations spiraled out of control when guests, or baraatis, were seen sitting on car roofs and hanging out of windows in a viral video. The procession involved SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Creta, and Mahindra Scorpio, accompanied by motorcyclists weaving through traffic in celebration.

Following orders from the SSP to crack down on public endangerment, Patel Nagar police arrested five individuals. Their vehicles were also impounded, the report added.

The police have urged citizens to celebrate responsibly and report similar incidents immediately.Disclaimer: This content was partially produced with the help of AI tools and was reviewed and published by our editors
