Dehradun Drunken Woman Sits In Middle Of Busy Road: Watch The Viral Video Here

A video showing a woman seated in the middle of Raipur Road in Dehradun has gone viral, triggering public concern over road safety and civic behavior in the city.

The incident, captured on a busy stretch and widely shared on the social media platform X, shows the woman obstructing traffic as she sat cross-legged on the road for several minutes.

In the footage, the woman—dressed in a black sleeveless top and denim—appears to adjust her slipper while traffic builds around her. Despite blaring horns and vehicles waiting for her to clear the way, she does not move. Two-wheelers are seen maneuvering around her from the side lane, while a car remains stalled nearby.

As the clip progresses, two security guards and a few bystanders eventually step in to help. They guide her toward the roadside to allow traffic flow to resume. The woman appeared unsteady but did not resist their assistance. No one is seen confronting or questioning her actions during the incident.

Users who posted the video online alleged that the woman was under the influence of alcohol, although no official confirmation has been made. As of Monday morning, there has been no statement or action from the Dehradun Police regarding the incident.

This isn’t the first time Uttarakhand has seen such public disruptions. A similar case was reported earlier this year from Haridwar, where a woman was caught on camera blocking traffic near Har Ki Pauri and attempting to jump into an auto-rickshaw. Locals then too claimed she was intoxicated.
